About Us
Garrett Whitelock is a fast-growing, independent estate agency based in SE1, managing a substantial portfolio of residential properties across Central and South East London. We pride ourselves on delivering a proactive, hands-on service to landlords and tenants alike.
As we continue to expand, we are looking for a highly organised and motivated Property Manager/Administrator to join our team.
The Role
This is a varied and fast-paced position combining property management, compliance, and administrative responsibilities. You will play a key role in ensuring our portfolio remains fully compliant while delivering excellent day-to-day management.
Key Responsibilities
Property Compliance
Managing and tracking compliance requirements (EICR, Gas Safety, PAT, EPC)
Booking and coordinating contractors for inspections and remedial works
Ensuring properties meet all current legislation and regulatory standards
Maintaining accurate compliance records and systems
Utility Management
Notifying and liaising with utility providers and councils
Resolving billing queries and supplier issues
Managing void and tenancy changeovers
Supporting tenants with utility-related queries
Property Management Duties
Acting as a point of contact for tenants and landlords
Handling maintenance issues and coordinating contractors
Monitoring rent payments and reporting arrears
Supporting tenancy renewals and general portfolio management
Administration
Updating internal systems and property records
Preparing documentation and correspondence
Supporting the wider team with day-to-day operations
About You
Previous experience in property management or lettings preferred
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
Proactive, problem-solving mindset
Familiarity with compliance legislation (or willingness to learn)
